Corporate & compliance

Corporate and compliance services

Annual obligations tracked, filings coordinated and statutory records kept in order — so compliance is routine rather than remedial.

Corporate compliance is mostly a calendar problem. The individual filings are rarely difficult; missing them is expensive, and the penalties accumulate quietly until someone needs a clean record for a loan, an investor or a tender.

We maintain a compliance calendar for your entity, prepare and coordinate the periodic filings, keep the statutory records and registers current, and flag events — a change in directors, capital, address or business activity — that trigger additional obligations.

Certain filings and certifications must be signed by professionals holding the relevant authority for that work. Where an engagement calls for that, we coordinate with the appropriate professional rather than represent that we can sign it ourselves.

How we work

Working with us on this

How an engagement runs at Vanesh Nadar & Co. Four stages: review of the current position, a written scope and fee, execution to an agreed calendar, then review to stop problems recurring. STEP 1 Review We look at your records, filings, registrations and any open notices, and tell you plainly where things stand. STEP 2 Scope & fees A written scope: deliverables, timelines, what we need from you and the fee — agreed before any work starts. STEP 3 Execute Work carried out to an agreed calendar, with a named point of contact and documented handovers. STEP 4 Review & improve Recurring issues are traced back to the process that caused them, so the same problem does not return next quarter.

Every engagement runs through the same four stages. Nothing begins until the scope and the fee are agreed in writing, and the fourth stage exists so that a problem found this quarter does not simply reappear in the next one.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

What compliance does a private limited company have every year?

Typically a set of annual filings with the registrar, an income tax return, an audit where applicable, periodic GST and TDS filings if registered, and maintenance of statutory records — plus event-based filings when directors, capital or address change. The exact list depends on your company and the law in force; we prepare a calendar specific to your entity.

Is LLP compliance lighter than company compliance?

Generally an LLP has fewer recurring corporate filings than a company, but it still has annual obligations, tax filings and audit requirements above prescribed thresholds. Lighter does not mean optional, and late filing penalties for LLPs accrue on a daily basis.

Do you provide company secretarial or legal services?

We provide compliance support, documentation and filing coordination. Work that must be certified or signed by a professional holding separate statutory authority is coordinated with an appropriately qualified professional. We will always be clear about which is which.

Our filings are behind by a couple of years. Can that be fixed?

Usually yes, though late fees will apply and they generally increase with delay. The first step is a status review of what has and has not been filed, followed by a sequenced catch-up plan with the expected cost stated upfront.
