Zoho Books
Zoho Books accounting and automation
Set up around your business, migrated carefully, and either handed over to your team with training — or run entirely by ours.
Software is only half of it
Most accounting software disappointments trace back to configuration. A chart of accounts copied from a template, tax settings that do not match how the business actually sells, invoice numbering that breaks at year end, bank feeds nobody reconciles — the software works, but the output cannot be relied on.
We approach a Zoho Books implementation as an accounting project rather than an IT installation. We start from how your business bills, buys, pays and reports, configure the system to that, migrate your history accurately, and then train the people who will live in it every day.
Afterwards you have a choice: run it yourself with our periodic review, or hand over the bookkeeping entirely and keep visibility through the same system.

Implementation
How a Zoho Books project runs
A migration is not a data transfer. It is the one chance you get to fix a chart of accounts that has been accumulating problems for years.
- Stage 1 · AssessCurrent process mapped: invoicing, purchases, reporting and where it fails.
- Stage 2 · ConfigureChart of accounts, tax settings, templates, users and approvals built to that map.
- Stage 3 · Cut-offAn agreed date fixed, so the old and new systems never run in parallel.
- Stage 4 · Migrate & verifyMasters, opening balances and open items moved, then reconciled.
- Stage 5 · Train & runTeam trained with written notes; we review periodically or run the books.
Automation
Where the time actually goes back
Once the base is right, automation is worth doing. Recurring invoices raise themselves. Bank rules categorise routine transactions. Payment reminders go out without anyone remembering to send them. Approval routing removes the informal WhatsApp confirmation that nobody can find later.
Where a workflow crosses systems — your billing platform, an e-commerce channel, a field application — our technology team can build the integration rather than leaving your staff to re-key data between them.
Ongoing support
- Outsourced bookkeeping inside your Zoho Books account
- Monthly reconciliation and close routine
- Management reports and dashboards
- User training for new joiners
- Periodic process review as the business changes
- Support when something in the setup needs to change

Questions
Zoho Books questions
Why use Zoho Books for business accounting?
It is cloud accounting software built with Indian GST requirements in mind, covering invoicing, banking, payables, expenses and reporting in one place. For businesses that want their accounts current rather than reconstructed at year end, it removes most of the friction — bank feeds, recurring invoices and approvals happen in the system instead of in a spreadsheet beside it.
Can our existing data be migrated?
Usually yes — from spreadsheets, desktop accounting software or another cloud system. We agree a cut-off date, migrate masters and opening balances, then run a verification pass so the opening trial balance in Zoho Books ties back to your previous records before you go live.
Do we need to change how our team works?
Some habits change, and that is usually the point. Invoices get raised in the system rather than in a word processor, expenses are captured with the bill attached, and approvals happen before payment. We document the new routine and train your team on it so the change sticks.
Can you run the bookkeeping for us in Zoho Books?
Yes. Many clients have us set the system up and then continue as their outsourced accounting team, with your staff raising invoices and our team handling recording, reconciliation, payables and month-end close.
Will Zoho Books handle our GST returns?
It maintains GST-compliant records and produces the underlying reports, which makes return preparation far quicker. The professional work — reviewing eligibility, reconciling input credit against vendor filings, and taking positions on classification — is still done by us. See GST services.
